Andrew John Miller

Solo Jazz guitarist

Andrew John Miller is a jazz guitarist. At the core of his calling is the desire to honor music's popular and more obscure past. He draws inspiration from jazz guitar greats like Charlie Byrd and Johnny Smith, but is equally influenced by Spanish guitarists Sabico and Ramon Montoya, acoustic avante folk players like John Fahey and Jack Rose, as well as country pickers Chet Atkins and Merle Travis,

At the heart of Miller's music is a love for past techniques and improvisation. That being said, he is not another archivist. Instead, he breathes fresh life into old songs. The results are as timeless as the material.

Miller cut his teeth in New York City and currently resides in the Los Angeles area.
